We helped design the in car navigation
experience for both Lexus and Toyota

The navigation experience needed to work across a wide range of hardware: multiple screen sizes, aspect ratios, and resolutions. Beyond in-dash displays, the system also extended into heads-up displays, where legibility and minimalism were critical. Our team created a flexible design language that adapted gracefully no matter the environment.

To support the breadth of content—points of interest, settings, search, and more—we designed a modular system of floating cards. These cards could expand, contract, and reorganize depending on context, keeping the experience lightweight while supporting deep functionality.
EV-first navigation
With Toyota’s increasing investment in electric vehicles, charging was a core focus. We integrated real-time EV insights into the routing experience, showing projected battery levels at the end of a trip and providing interfaces for active charging sessions. This ensured drivers had confidence in both their journey and their charging strategy.
